Hold - Translational Neuroimaging Core

Overview of Services

Nemours/AIDHC PET/MR Imaging Center brings the most state-of-the-art medical imaging technology available today to Delaware. Our center features a GE SIGNA PET/MR 3.0 T scanner and a Current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) compliant PET Radiopharmaceutical Laboratory capable of producing a wide range of PET imaging tracers for clinical and preclinical research.

We also have an Animal PET Imaging Laboratory, which is aimed at promoting advanced PET/MR technology for translational biomedical research. It enables researchers to utilize in vivo PET imaging to test their hypotheses in pre-clinical rodent models before moving to clinical PET/MR studies. Together with the PET Radiopharmaceutical Laboratory, this laboratory is equipped for novel PET imaging tracer development for a variety of applications (e.g. neurology, oncology, and cardiology).

Our Image Analysis Laboratory is equipped with professional workstations and staffed with a medical physicist for advanced image reconstruction and analysis, which is capable of providing multiple-modality (e.g. PET, MRI, CT, ultra-sound, fluorescence, and bio-luminescence) medical image analysis services for both clinical and pre-clinical projects.
